The campsite

What are the opening dates of the campsite?
The campsite will be open from 5 April to 29 September 2024.

How far are we from the nearest downtown?
We are 3 km away from the center of La Bernerie en Retz and 5 km from the center of Pornic.

How far are we from the nearest beach?
The campsite is 200m away from La Boutinardière beach.

The beach

Is it a sandy beach?
Yes, La Boutinardière beach 200 metres from the campsite is a large sandy beach for swimming with family or friends.

Is it easily accessible?
A small sloping concrete road gives you access to the beach. It is therefore completely accessible for strollers and persons with reduced mobility.

Is it possible to put your boat in the water?
No, the launching of a boat is not possible unless it is a kayak or canoe.

Tides?
We are on the Atlantic coast, so we have tides. At low tide it is not possible to swim because the sea recedes too far.
The Great Tides of 2024: April 8-11, August 20-24 and september 17-22.

Is it possible to fish on foot?
Yes, that’s even what we recommend you do at low tide. On the beach of La Boutinardière you can catch shrimp and clams.

Bookings

How to book your stay ?
You can book your stay directly on our website: https://www.camping-boutinardiere.com/ or directly by phone at 0033.2.40.82.05.68.

Can we arrive any other day than saturday?
Yes, we do arrivals on Wednesday and Sunday according to models.
In pitch, it is possible to arrive every day except Saturday in July-August.
In off-season arrivals are made every day with a minimum of 2 nights.

What methods of payment are accepted?
You can pay your deposit/balance: on our website with your bank card or by bank transfer.
The balance of your stay must be paid one month before your arrival.

Can I take out cancellation insurance ?
Insurance is included in the price of the stay. Details can be found in our booking conditions.

Is there a bond to be provided?
Yes we ask for a deposit of 50€ for camping pitches, 300€ for rentals and 1000€ for the family villa.
For rentals the deposit must be provided before your stay in order to limit the waiting time of each at the time of arrival. This can be done by credit card impression if you pay with your card on our website or by phone.
At the time of departure, the inventory being done after your departure, we will cancel the deposit.

Arrivals and departures

What time can we arrive? What time should we leave?
Rental arrivals are made from 16:30 and departures are made by 10 am at the latest. We can welcome you from 14:00 but we have no guarantee that your rental will be available before 16:30.
Arrivals in locations are made from 14:00 and departures are made by 12:00 at the latest.

Can we arrive outside of opening hours?
If you expect to arrive after 19.00 it will be necessary to contact the reception in advance so that a pouch with your name is transmitted to the bar/restaurant which can accommodate you until 21.30 maximum.

Rentals

What are the differences between the ranges?
Apart from the tariff, the differences are related to the age of the rental and its equipment:
Standard range: model over 7 years equipped without television
Standard TV range: model over 7 years equipped with television
Space range: model less than 7 years equipped with freezer
Comfort range: model less than 7 years equipped with television, freezer, shutters or blinds occultant in the rooms, barbecue and 2 sun loungers.
Family range: the comfort range equipment with in addition the dishwasher, a toaster and a tassimo.
Family spa range: the amenities of the family range and an outdoor spa.

Does a child under two years old count as a person?
Yes, our insurance is based on the capacity of the mobile home, your baby is insured like the rest of the family

Are sheets and blankets included?
Yes pillows and duvets are provided. Bed linen and towels are not provided but we offer them for rent.

• Bed linen: 15€ per single bed and 17€ per double bed.
• Towels: 7€ the kit including a small and a large towel.

Is there a TV in the rentals ?
Yeah, except in the standard and space range.
If you have rented through an agency or your works council it is likely that your rental is not equipped with television.

Is it possible to get his television back?
No because the antenna connection is not effective.

Is it possible to install a tent next to a mobile home? ?
No, you have to take a touring pitch for that.

Touring pitches

How many persons can settle on a touring pitch? ?
Up to 6 persons are allowed on site.

What is the amperage of electrical terminals?
10 amps, you will have to think about getting a European adapter and a large extension cord. We have for sale European adapters at the price of 18.50€.

Can I install two motorhomes, two vans on one site?
No, you will have to take two pitches. However, you have the permission to put a camper or a caravan with an extra tent.

Is there a possibility of draining wastewater on the site?
No, but a space provided for this purpose is at your disposal at the main sanitary level of the campsite.

Is it possible to book a specific location?
Yes, you must subscribe the option choice of location for 20 €. Then we block the location of your choice. The “location choice” option allows you to permanently block one or two specific locations. This supplement can be used under two conditions:p>

• If you want to choose a location number based on availability
• If you book multiple locations: it allows you to have the locations side by side or face-to-face.
  The campsite has 404 pitches. It cannot therefore meet the criterion of sunshine, which is constantly changing depending on the season or the time of day. For this reason, the “sunny” or “shaded” criteria cannot be valid for this option.

Are animals allowed ?
Pets are welcome at the campsite.
Pets are welcome on the eco-TV, space, comfort ranges. They are not allowed in playhouses, key west, VIP cottages and cottages.
Instructions: Your pet will be accepted with a supplement. You will need to have their current vaccination record with you.
We ask you to limit your pet’s freedom: don’t get on sofas or beds, don’t claw at furniture, don’t stay out all the time, be kept on a leash… For his dung, «toutounettes» are available at the reception to keep the campsite clean.
Please note that category 1 and 2 animals are prohibited.

The aquatic area

What are the opening hours ?
The aquatic area is open from 10am to 7pm in low season and from 10am to 8pm in July-August.

Are swim shorts allowed ?
No, only short swimsuits are allowed (briefs or boxers). Any other outfit is prohibited within the swimming pools.

Is the aquatic area heated?
The indoor pool is heated throughout the season between 28 and 30°.
The outdoor pool is heated from mid-May to the end of September.

Can my child go to the pool alone?
For their safety, children under 10 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Is the pool open to outside persons? ?
The swimming pool is exclusively reserved to guests of the campsite.
If you are a customer and receive a visitor, in this case a visitor rate will be requested to access the aquatic complex.

Animations

When does the animation start?
From the opening of the campsite the 3th April till beggining of september, activities will be offered. During the day, fitness and sports tournaments and in the evening various activities such as dance evenings, quizzes, lottery… The schedule is lighter apart from french school holidays and long weekend.

The children’s club, for whom and when?
The children’s club concerns children from 4 to 11 years. It is open on french Easter holidays, long weekend and summer holidays. Children under 4 years of age will not be accepted.
In summer, 2 groups are set up: the mini club for 4-7 years and the junior club for 8-11 years.
Registrations are made the day before for the next day directly at the reception. For safety reasons the maximum capacity is 30 children in low season and 50 children in summer.

Is there a teenagers club ?
Yes, it applies to teens aged 12 to 17 and operates only on July-August.

The spa

Is it open all year round?
The Zénéo Spa is open for the camping period only from 16 April to 24 September 2023.

What are the opening hours?
The spa is open from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 18:00.
In low season it is closed on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
In summer it closes on Saturday and Sunday.

Is it accessible to outsiders?
The spa is open to both camping and outdoor guests.

Our Services

WIFI access
Free Wifi is available on the terrace of the bar and inside the restaurant.
You can also connect to your location for 4€/day or 15€/week per device. However, you should know that our Wifi does not have enough speed for videos.

Is it possible to rent baby equipment?
It is possible to rent the umbrella bed, high chair and bathtub per accessory at 3€ per night.
We also offer the baby kit with all these accessories and the stroller cane in addition to the price of 49€ per week.

Are Barbecues allowed?
Yes, barbecues are allowed on pitches. If your rental is not equipped, it is possible for you to return yours but know that we do not rent on site. The rentals of comfort, family and family spa type are equipped with a charcoal barbecue or a plancha depending on the model.

Is there a laundromat on site?
Yes, washing machines, dryers, clothes trays, ironing board are at your disposal. Tokens are on sale at the reception: 5€ per washing machine and 3.50€ per dryer.

Is the fitness room free?
The fitness room is available free of charge upon reservation at the reception.
It is reserved for persons over the age of 17.

Is there a way to get some food on the spot ?
Yes the campsite has a restaurant bar open for lunch and dinner in the off-season and continuously in July and August. The restaurant has a take-away service and a convenience store.

Are there shops nearby?
At the grocery store of the campsite, you will find consumer products, bread and pastries, wines etc…
At the Bernerie in Retz, a crossroads market (3km) as well as several small shops in the city centre.
In Pornic, you will be spoilt for choice with the nearest Intermarché (2km) but also a little further Super U and Leclerc without forgetting the many shops of the center for your shopping trips and holiday memories.
